Dokolo District has been in existence for four years now, after gaining a district status in July 2006. Over the years, it has registered tremendous milestones in terms of good governance and quality service delivery to the population.
The district has 10 sub-counties of Agwata, Batta, Dokolo, Kangai, Kwera, Okwongodul, Adeknino, Amwoma, Adok, Okwalongwen, with 1 town council. It has 60 parishes and 474 villages with a total area of approximately 1,352 km2. Five new Sub-Counties namely: Adok, Amwoma, Adeknino, Okwalongwen and Okwongodul commenced operations on July 1, 2010.

During my term of office so far, many more ministries have come to Dokolo District to find out what is going on interms of District operations. Examples include Ministry Of Health, Director NAADS(National Agricultural Advisory Services), Ministry Of Local Government.
